1st Grade Music Lessons Week of June 1 - 5

Lesson 1


* Review song "A Ram Sam Sam". See if are better at singing the words and doing the motions at the same time. Try singing it faster and faster!




* Review the verses to "3 Little Fishies." I will sing in a video on google stream the verses for you. Then see if you can sing all of them on your own.


* Let's get moving again to "Boom Chicka Boom". Come up with your own movements this time.


Lesson 2

* In 3 Little Fishies see if you can sing the verses and the chorus with motions. 


* Review "Yankee Doodle". Then watch me sing the song with motions you would do with a rhythm stick on the google stream. You can use a pencil or pen!

Lesson 1 1st Grade Music Google Form May 18 - 22 * Let's try Grandma's Feather bed one more time and see if you can sing all the words to the chorus even when he sings it fast. It was 9 feet high and six feet wide soft as a downy chick. It was made from the feathers of forty 'leven geese Took a whole bolt of cloth for the tick It could hold 8 kids and 4 hound dogs and a piggy we stole from the shed. We didn't get much sleep but we had a lot of fun on grandma's feather bed! * Review "The Name Game" song. See if you are better at singing the rhymes to the names. 3rd Grade Music Lesson Week of May 18 - 22

Music Lesson 3rd Grade Google Form May 18 - 22 * Let's continue working on "Ode To Joy". On the google stream I will play just Line 3 for you. The rhythm is tricky so I will play it slowly for you.   Just work on practicing Line 3. Once you have gotten the notes try speeding it up. At the end of the line is Low D. Remember you use 3 fingers on top and 3 fingers on bottom for that note. * Continue watching "Beethoven Lives Upstairs." Watch 30 minutes more from where you left off last week. All the music in the background is music Beethoven wrote.
