4th Grade Chorus and Music Lessons Week of May 25 - 29

 Chorus Lesson

* Review singing "The Star Spangled Banner." Try and be very clear with your words. Take deep breaths so you can hit the high notes.  Here is the background music for you to sing along with after you try it without background music.

* Review the song  God Bless America. Start out singing softly then as you go through the song sing louder and louder.

* Review "You're A Grand Old Flag." Sing it twice all the way through since the song is short. Have fun when singing it with a smile on your face!

                                                           Music Lesson

* Review "Epo I Tai Tai E".  Sing the melody and words once without the music and then add the background music. Then I will have a video on the google stream showing you the body percussion. Watch the video then try body percussion on your own while singing.

* Last week you learned about a composer named Rossini. You listened to "The William Tell Overture". This is the story of William Tell.

Listen to the William Tell Overture again and draw a picture of either what happens in the story or your own picture of how the piece makes you feel.
